Farzana Khan, MS
Farzana completed her Bachelor of Science at Stony Brook University where she double majored in Biology and Women Gender Sexuality Studies. She conducted research on the toll-like receptor signaling pathway in C. elegans at NYU Langone and on the effect of calcium and vitamin D on adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes at Stony Brook Medicine. Afterwards, she pursued a Master of Science in Biotechnology at New York University and worked in the Cornell Clinical Trials Unit with studies related to HIV, COVID-19, and anal cancer. Farzana joined the Jones Lab in April 2022 and hopes to continue to gain experience in translational science research.
