Sandra is the laboratory manager for the Jones Lab. She received a BS in Biology from Pace University in New York and a MA from the City University of New York Brooklyn College. Before joining the Jones Lab in August 2019, she worked at the Icahn School of Medicine in the Simon lab for Dr. Ben Mulder where she investigated the impact of human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) on the HIV-1 life cycle. In the Jones Lab, she manages the day-to-day operations of the lab, performs immunological endpoints for the clinical trials we are contributing to, and works on other clinical studies.
