Tan Thinh Huynh, BS
Thinh Huynh is from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He got his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with two minors in Philosophy and Data Science from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. During undergraduate, he was working with Dr. James West studying disulfide-based biochemistry in conserved essential eukaryotic proteins using Saccharomyces cerevisiae as model organisms. He did his undergraduate thesis under Drs. James West and Eszebet Regan studying essential mitochondrial disulfide relay system in S. cerevisiae. He is interested in learning about the molecular mechanism behind CTL-killing resistance, heterogeneity of the viral reservoir, and participating in translational and clinical studies.
Fun Fact: Thinh likes boxing, experimenting with new recipes, and he is working on a historical fiction book.
